Belated update: "Lilly", a 1 1/2 y.o. E. Mastiff graduated from the Boot Camp Behavioral Rehabilitation program. Lilly is by far one of the shyest dogs I've ever seen, she is gentle and now obedient but very reserved and avoidant of people. She had never suffered abuse, although that was the #1 question I was asked by people while we were out and about in training. Thankfully Lilly resorts to avoidance and not aggression.
Issues Before Training:
Pulls in leash, shy, submissive, severe fear of people, avoidance in social situations.
Latest Update:
Teaching this gentle giant some vital coping skills was my goal in the two weeks I had her. Lilly is doing amazing and so is her mom who has learned how to push both herself and the dog into situations never thought of before. I'm proud of all of you!
