On Site Evaluations
Before we accept any dog into a training program we do a preliminary evaluation to assess the dog's temperament, health and problem behaviors, so that we can establish what program is best suited for you and your dog.
The evaluation lasts approximately two hours, and is done at our location. At this time you will receive an exact estimate, of time and cost for the training program, become familiar with the training equipment we will use, as well as tour our training facility.
What does the evaluation consist of?
Pre book your client consultation and canine temperament evaluation.
Once your evaluation is complete, you'll have everything you need to make an informed decision about your dog's formal education. You are under no obligation, of any kind, to sign up on the spot, but should you decide to sign up, we are equipped to sign paperwork and schedule dates, immediately. Sometimes, it will be possible to drop your dog off, for Boot Camp, immediately following the evaluation, but most often, dates are scheduled for a later time.
Since we are a highly personalized service, all appointments will be scheduled at your convenience and around your schedule.
How much does the evaluation cost?
On Site evaluations are $100.00. Human-Aggressive cases are $200.00 and available at our location only. Price covers up two dogs belonging to the same family. Typical duration of an evaluation is approximately 2 hours (weather permitting) and the booking fee is non refundable if canceled less than 48 hours of appointment.
Please note that Gaby is extremely selective when evaluating or accepting aggression cases in her facility. Majority of human aggression cases will be denied services for various reasons. Owner may be referred out, when possible.
Who should come to the evaluation?
We strongly encourage you to bring everyone* in your family to the evaluation, and anyone else who has regular interaction with the dog, but is not a paid pet professional. You will learn a lot about your dog (and dogs in general), during the evaluation, and it can be very beneficial to have everyone there to hear it first-hand. Of course, it is not always possible to get everyone on the same schedule, so at a minimum, the person who is most familiar with the dog, should attend.
